"Strong men believe in cause and effect, Weak men believe in luck." True?
In other words, strong men believe that there must be a reason for something happening while weak men believe that there isn't any concrete need for a purpose for someone to do anything. If this is the case, the so-called strong men often set off on a mission to pursue the reasons behind something happening. They devote their time and attention to details that weaker men will never do. But at what cost?
With it, they may get themselves sucked into a darker, more sinister world. They get exposed to the other side of human nature. They get affected by profound matters of the human mind that they will otherwise be better off without knowing about. Their till now perfect world starts being tainted by violence, cruelty. Isn't it best being ignorant, yet blissful? Yes, I think luck's a great excuse to avoid searching for a reason. I believe luck's a great excuse to believe why things are they way they are.
'So many people have done this, but I am the only one caught. What luck!' Case closed. Point taken. Don't ever take risks like this anymore.
Vice Versa, 'Why was I the only one caught? I must get to the bottom of this.' Theories of conspiracy and plots spring to mind. 'I suspect XXX hates me and wants to pummel me into the doldrums.' 'I think ZZZ is trying to frame me. Saboking.. Grrrr....' Negativity immediately poisons the brain and the world is suddenly a less vibrant place.
So I question again, better off being strong? Or is it better off being weak? To each his
own. Partly why this particular buzzing question arose was because of watching
射雕英雄传.
Guojing's naive and docile nature subsequently led him to reaching the pinnacle of the martial arts world and establishing himself as one of the most accomplished heroes in South Song, revered by citizens everywhere.
"A person is never happy except at the price of some ignorance."
