Hokay, it's about 12 hours before I depart on my first ever SIA flight. Hahaha call me country bumpkin if you want but I am still excited!
Yesterday, I started to try talking to people online again and I have to say I felt the effort all worthwhile because while in the gaming world, you ARE interacting with others, the familiarity and qin qie gan will never be able to compete with conversations on MSN. Meanwhile, I maintain my stand that people must never start relying on the Internet to maintain relations because I firmly firmly believe that real life meet-ups are still the best ingredients in cooking up a long lasting healthy relationship.
I've also started writing e-mails to a select band of friends. If things work out, I may continue this alternative snailmailing because, well, as in my previous post, I am the hunter now and I hunt memories. Went out today to purchase my cam. It's an IXUS 80 and it's.. silver. Well, I did want a coloured one but the salesman said the colours are spray painted and they come off pretty easily. I don't want a camera which grows permanent silver chicken pox in the future so that's that!
Oh yes, I mentioned going out. I paid a visit to Parkway Parade, where I haven't been in ages. Due to overexcitement, I went there too early and every shop was closed. I walked around like a sua gu and finally settled my breakfast with some delightful products from BreadTalk. Yea, well after that Harvey Norman finally opened and I got to some serious bargaining action. Well, if the salesperson had been an old woman, I think I would have had no trouble getting some cheap shots in here and there. (By that, I mean obtaining freebies from the lady with sweet nothings, nothing else!) Yea, anyway, the salesperson turned out to be a man. (oh shit, i mentioned it in the previous paragraph already) So, end of story. I made sure I wasted all his saliva before deciding on my already decided IXUS80. Camera purchased! Proceeding to get some batteries and products, I then took a short walk to Roxy Square to have my hair cut at the regular VJCSB hair-stop. After the haircut, I looked at myself in the mirror and ohmygoodness, my head looked enormous. And I mean FENORMOUS. With that, I decided on the bus ride home, that I will and must lose weight! RARH, and I just downed like 7 sticks of satay. Great. Looks like I can consider being the real life lion dance datou for the rest of my life.
Hmm, I suppose I should stop now. Maybe I'll turn in for the night so I can devote my energy to exploring the plane's features tmr. Heh, in the meantime, await my return from Rocky Ol' Rockhampton!
