So what defines desperation?
Over-zealous actions? How would you define over-zealous?
Frankly speaking, I find it hard to swallow the fact that people splash the word 'desperate' around so freely nowadays, especially so if it's about someone they barely know. Is it fair for that person to suffer allegations when it's from someone they do not know?
Doing so at a space you assume 'safe', is that better? Because you know the chance of a war erupting is significantly decreased. Sometimes, it's better to not cower behind technology and spew derogatory remarks.
On the other hand, today was spent procrastinating in bed before settling for a quick breakfast and yet another duel with the Z monster. After that and a couple of boring shows later, it was time to catch up with guys. Drove to ECP with my Dad as v-com as usual for the battalion's anniversary. What surprised me first was the huge snow-white tent already pitched up. With fully rotating fans and all hovering above.
It started with a really dumb Amazing Race which turned out to be a one horse race because.. well, the other horses just weren't very interested. Clear cut winners from the start. After that, we witnessed some traditional army entertainment. Cat whistles and rowdy cheers ensued. Yup, hot babes dancing hot stuff. Got everybody (all guys, remember?) excited but i have to comment how brave these lasses really are. Surrounding by wolves of the opposite sex with drool hanging from those lips, they had the gall to actually serenade and provoke the now ravenous beasts. HAHAHA But really la, damm fierce. OK anw, more dumb games later, it was dinner time. Which wasn't that much of a good thing either because the food wasn't that good. Proceeding to Parkway thanks to kampong boy's daddy, we stood in for some carolling before having a talk cock session at the hawkers.
We talked about a number of issues but yes, it was a welcome session because sessions like these will always reinforce our belief in this friendship. So yes, it was an important night spent with great buddies. Let's do this more often!
