One thing about life is... you never know what it will throw you next.

So how one copes with unexpected setbacks and challenges is a crucial aspect of surviving and even winning the game of life.

I would like to think that through the years, though I've made some pretty dense mistakes here and there, i have also made some pretty good ones. My life now could have been better but it could also be the polar opposite.

The thing is, life's lived once. Any little action or remark is another part of the future's history. That, it will never change. Like how two bombs altered the face of the world, like how holy people decided to crash planes into towering structures thus setting a precedent for future 'holy' doings.

Same goes for daily life i guess. Although it's counter-intuitive sometimes, I think being all goody-two-shoes and easygoing makes living with people a lot easier. Somebody always has to give. Of course the ideal situation would be everybody possessing similar EQs. Sadly though, EQ is something that just can't be taught.

First off, definition of EQ. EQ actually stands for Emotional Intelligence Quotient. Much like an intelligence quotient, or IQ, an EQ is said to be a measure of a person’s emotional intelligence. A person with 'high' EQ can understand other people's emotions better and thus deal better with them.

People nowadays place utmost emphasis on ingenuity, judged on a person's IQ and learning capacity but sadly, that's casting the human side of life away. EQ's a really profound thing because it focuses on human emotions, invisible to us, intangible. That's why leaders should always possess this certain of EQ. Being a people's leader will always triumph over a powerful leader. In other words, give me Democrats over Autocrats anyday.

I think ultimately, whether a person succeeds in life, being aware of his/her shortcomings and working to overcome them is imperative. Even then, one should also be able to relate to others well. Interpersonal relationships form the webs of life, intertwined to form a really solid strong platform from which we can kick on and find our paths in life.
